Security Officer Access Control Rover

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage entry and exit activity, monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or other access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, following post orders, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
