Security Officer - Rover/Driver

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Ambassador – Rover/Driver. As a Security Officer – Response, your role will vary depending on the day and special event, requiring you to adapt with agility and precision across customer service, patrols, and surveillance. Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
• Respond quickly to critical situations.
• Provide critical access control by screening guests, employees, vendors, and other guests upon entry and exit.
• Perform extra security patrols of the grounds inside and outside the facility by car, golf cart, and/or foot.
• Provide appropriate badges at the facility.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Work proficiently with electronics.
• Maintain vehicles and other assigned equipment, following proper procedures.
• Hold CPR/AED certification or obtain it within two weeks of an offer.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum one year of security experience in a fast‑paced environment, or equivalent military/law‑enforcement background.
• Valid PILB in hand.
• High school diploma or GED (or higher).
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification within one week.
• U.S. citizen or naturalized.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $18.01 per hour (DailyPay) is available for GardaWorld employees.

Schedule

Set schedule: Shift 1 – Swing: 2 pm to 10 pm (Tuesday/Thursday & Friday). Shift 2 – Swing: 2 pm to 10 pm (Friday to Tuesday).
