Security Officer Patrol Driver Rover

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations throughout the site. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including warehouse floors, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, as conditions vary by site.
• Monitor access points, verify entry and exit activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment, and/or inventory areas.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer activity, visitor movement, and/or after-hours access, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
