Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points and help to verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and/or delivery access in alignment with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Document daily activities, access-related events, and/or incident details through required logs and reports to support site operations and security-related awareness.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
