About the role
As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver in HOPE, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication at a food and beverage production location.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-area access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitors, deliveries, and unusual activity.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Guard card/license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
