About the role
As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver in Marietta, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required access-control records.
- Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
- Communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, complete accurate activity reports, and follow established post orders and client procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
