Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver
About the role
As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol Driver in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
