As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Pennington, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will manage entry points, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment by remaining visible, conducting routine patrols, helping to deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry records, and following established authorization procedures.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity or potential hazards.
- Complete accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A valid guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
