What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing requirements, and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting access restrictions, traffic flow, and security-related response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, gates, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations or access control.
- Communicate with site personnel regarding deliveries, contractor access, and restricted areas to help support orderly movement throughout the location and help to deter unauthorized entry.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
