Security Officer Access Control Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access logs while providing professional communication with residents and property representatives.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in security-related work is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
