Security Officer Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Control in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Your visible presence, attention to detail, and customer service skills will help support smooth operations while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and belongings entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain required screening-related records and documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour. Schedule: Wed 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Thur 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM.
