Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials as directed, and document entries, exits, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
