Security Officer Access Control

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Control in Prescott, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and controlling visitor and employee access. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, respond to access-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service.

Position Type: Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor incoming deliveries, contractors, and/or vendors in accordance with site requirements and maintain accurate logs as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$14.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
