As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for residents and guests. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Friday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or guests by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access at residential entry points; verify authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct guests according to community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required access control records in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
