Security Guard Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a residential community, you will drive and ride a bike to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout residential common areas, entry points, streets, amenities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe resident and visitor traffic in accordance with established community procedures; document and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation; communicate relevant observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated property representatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
