As a Security Guard Vehicle Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, communicate with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor entry and exit, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour
