Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed - Site Response in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, production spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and site activities.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
