Job Description As a Security Guard Unarmed - Property Access in Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the food and beverage facility, including production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting site access-control procedures.
• Report hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM; Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM; Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM; Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
