Security Officer Unarmed - Property Access

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain access to the community, verify visitor and vendor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, and document relevant activity.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
