About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Darlington, SC, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and site activities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$15.00 / Hour

- Wednesday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Friday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
