Security Officer Unarmed - Site Entrance

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location in Blythewood, SC. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, parking areas, loading docks, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Thursday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Friday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Saturday: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
