Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Customer Support

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Atlanta, GA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, parking locations, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
