Security Guard Unarmed Driving Role

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s Driver Policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized personnel and visitor access, and document relevant activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Report hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.

$16.00 / Hour

• Thursday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Friday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sunday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
