Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Champaign, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time, driving position requires routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to retail location visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity in accordance with site procedures to deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$17.00 / Hour

• Part Time
• Friday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
