Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Driver in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
