About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$18.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Position Type: Full Time
- Day shift: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM (Monday through Friday)
