About the role
As an unarmed Security Guard Vehicle Patrol Driver in Sewell, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government and public parks and recreation. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors with professionalism. This driving post offers the opportunity to deliver outstanding service while communicating clearly and responding to security-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and community members at public parks and recreation locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of park grounds, trails, parking areas, buildings, recreational facilities, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Monitor access points, observe activity throughout assigned locations, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate reports and communicate clearly with site contacts, visitors, and responding public-service personnel as needed.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.54 / hour

- Friday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
- Saturday: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
