Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Driving Role

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior, and document incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and other security-related duties in a busy retail location where working environments and conditions may vary.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour

• Friday: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM
