Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading docks, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
