Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and customer inquiries, and help maintain an orderly environment throughout the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$24.75 / hour
