About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location in Miami, FL, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with Allied Universal teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or tenants by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Florida State Security Agency License (No. B8500287) or ability to obtain one prior to employment, as required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Access control and badge experience.

Pay

$20.50 / hour.

• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 09:00 AM - 01:00 PM
