As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
  • Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay

$16.00 / Hour

Schedule

DayTime: Monday 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM, Saturday 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM, Sunday 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
