As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
