Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance issues, access-control concerns, and other security-related observations according to site-specific policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
