Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Support

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location in Philadelphia, PA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting access control at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, loading docks, and/or other assigned locations; verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and maintenance-related reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and property management personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.75 / hour

• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 08:00 PM
