Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Support

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location in El Segundo, CA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols, observation, and timely reporting while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site procedures; document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.63 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
