Security Guard Medical Patrol

About the role

Apart from providing security services in healthcare facilities, you will also have the opportunity to build a flexible schedule using the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter unauthorized access, support visitor screening processes, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior.
  • Assist with access control, badge and credential checks, and routine security-related presence in patient care and public areas while following location protocols and privacy expectations.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A guard card is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

DayTime: Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
