About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a controlled environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, innovative, and people-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and entry requirements in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and completely.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
