Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location in Columbus, OH. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, loading docks, parking areas, storage areas, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery verification in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations through required reports, logs, and shift communications.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
