Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution in San Francisco, CA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and public service personnel while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

$34.00 / hour

• Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
