Security Guard Full Time Alarm Response

About the role

As a Full Time Alarm Response Security Guard in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. Your role includes monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will assist with access control, respond to alarms, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution, including entrances, lobby areas, parking facilities, business areas, and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding emergency personnel.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$23.95 per hour.
