About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location in Charlotte, NC. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
