Security Officer Armed Part Time Patrol Readiness

About the role

As an Armed Part-Time Patrol Readiness Security Officer in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures to maintain controlled access to restricted areas.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Concealed carry weapons permit (required).
• Armed guard card or license (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license (for driving positions only).

Pay

$32.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Monday: 08:00 AM - 05:15 PM
• Friday: 08:00 AM - 05:15 PM
