About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a public transportation location in Seattle, WA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to riders, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation locations.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Baton, handcuffing, and CPR certifications are preferred.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$29.93 / hour
