Security Area Specialist with strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task while maintaining quality, consistency, safety, and customer service for residents and guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in vacation, sick time, leave of absence, and last-minute shift coverage.
- Assigned to a specific region; adhere to company policy at all assigned properties.
- Reliable transportation and mobile communication required.
- Wear company-approved attire/uniform and display identification badges at all times.
- Maintain clean work area and adhere to all safety procedures; report safety issues to Property Manager immediately.
- Check Fire Alarm panel for normal status; report troubles in writing to Property Manager immediately.
- Follow property-specific emergency procedures (evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
- Patrol property as required and report issues of concern.
- Utilize radio communications per property guidelines.
- Prepare and review written documents (daily logs, inspections, reports).
- Exchange information with employees using two-way or base radio.
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Report all complaints/issues to the Director of Operations.
- On call 24/7 for emergencies and call-outs, including weekends and holidays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Valid Florida Security License “D”.
- Two to three years of hospitality security experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Multiple language fluency desirable.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs.
- Work in upright standing or sitting position for long periods.
- Handle, finger, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Communicate and exchange ideas via spoken and written word.
- Navigate property/buildings quickly and easily.
- Complete required forms.
- Knowledge of multi-building operations.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements.
- Driving required.

Pay
$20.00 per hour
