About the role

Entry-level Graveyard Security Officer monitors and controls gates, performs mobile and foot patrols of assigned areas, and responds to issues and complaints. This is a year-round position with 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Complete 40 hours of guard card training and obtain CA guard card
• Perform patrols during assigned shifts to ensure designated facilities are checked regularly as a deterrent against problems and to address issues promptly
• Enforce company, state, and local laws when required
• Prepare coherent, legible, and complete professional reports under existing guidelines
• Work independently with sound judgment
• Provide support to other departments as requested or necessary
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest and employee situations, events, and requests, even outside specific departmental responsibilities
• Respond to emergency situations and ensure required notifications are made
• Maintain proper shift logs and documentation
• Check the physical security of Heavenly assets and property
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications and email
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Pass background check
• Able to obtain CA Guard Card certification

Preferred Skills

• Intermediate skier or rider
• CPR/First Aid certification

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr.

Schedule

Year-round, 30 hours per week (graveyard shift).
