Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. The security ambassador is responsible for safeguarding the assets of Hollywood Casino and its guests.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard assets, guests, and team members
• Escort gaming chips, tokens, cash, and other assets to the appropriate personnel
• Supervise the end of gaming day drop
• Oversee the counting of tokes
• Prepare security reports in a timely manner and ensure accurateness and completeness
• Know the procedures for both Security Control locations, i.e., Sensitive Key and Temporary - Badge Logs, Fire Alarm Panel, for Man Trap, Administrative Building, i.e., Cameras and Fire - Panel, and the Security Vehicle
• Demonstrate and follow the emergency procedures of the Security Department
• Assist the maintenance department in an emergency condition
• Responsible for the proper usage of equipment, i.e. radios, handcuffs, cameras, and ID scanners
• Responsible for Alcohol Awareness Initiative and ensures that only Guests over 21 years of age are allowed in the casino
• Address any individual not wearing an Illinois Gaming Board Identification Badge found in non-public areas
• Escort individuals who have an admitted gaming issue to the dockside IGB Agent
