About the role

The Security Agent is an entry-level role responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all persons and property, including but not limited to: hotels, offices, restaurants, properties, and retail locations. This may include foot patrols, responding to emergencies, completion of detailed reports, and interacting with local law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and reporting, or correcting safety issues
• Aiding/interacting with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Providing a high visibility presence in order to deter criminal activity and violations of resort conduct code
• Submitting thorough and clear reports
• Cooperating with law enforcement in investigations
• Using radio and telephone communications to call for assistance from Police, Fire, or Emergency Services as the situation dictates
• Performing additional tasks as requested by the Night Manager, Security Supervisor or other Management Team members

Requirements

• Education – high school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Prior Security/Loss Prevention experience preferred, Previous Hotel experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Fluent English
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outside in varying and extreme weather conditions
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Pay

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
