About the role
The Secretary to the Assistant Principal provides clerical and secretarial support to the administrator, develops and promotes good community relations, and performs essential physical tasks including occasional lifting up to twenty pounds, frequent sitting, standing, occasional bending, squatting, reaching, and stooping.
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical support to the assistant principal and administrative assistant.
- Provide information through daily bulletin and other means to staff, students, and others.
- Schedule events on the master calendar regarding athletic events and activities and provide information to various personnel and community.
- Assign student lockers and process student I.D. cards.
- Manage daily substitute teacher activities and records teacher absences.
- Respond to telephone calls, route calls, take messages, and assist staff, parents, and community with concerns and questions.

- Minimum Hire Rate: $18.93 USD per hour
- Maximum Hire Rate: $24.13 USD per hour
- Full Salary Range: $18.93 USD - $29.33 USD per hour
