Secondary Mathematics Teacher

About the role

The position is located in Latrobe, PA. Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Starting salary $50,000, 190-day contract, 8 personal days. Includes medical, dental, vision insurance, and pay for performance incentive. Annual bonus potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced lesson plans and performance tasks with desired stated outcomes for each class.
• Facilitate learning of academic, social, and life skills as it pertains to mathematics and everyday life.
• Administer pre/post tests and incorporate results and needs of students into educational planning.
• Participate in curriculum team meetings and be an active member of the planning team.
• Ensure the implementation of IEP goals and recommendations in all classes.
• Communicate with all parties involved in the forward education of all students (educators, parents, counties, workers, etc).
